Strength

Strength work without a gym

Progressive resistance using what you have.

  • Bodyweight and bands — no rack, no barbell
  • Structured progression, so week eight is harder than week one
  • Protects bone density and joint health long term

Strength is the one quality that protects everything else as you age. These sessions use bodyweight, bands and whatever you own, structured so the difficulty actually progresses instead of staying flat.

Start where you are

Four levels

1

Starter

Never done this before. Slow tempo, every move broken down.

2

Beginner

You know the basics. Full sessions at a comfortable pace.

3

Intermediate

Longer combinations, higher intensity, fewer rests.

4

Advanced

Full speed, complex sequences, and real conditioning work.

Strength questions

Can bodyweight training really build strength?

Yes, as long as it progresses. Harder leverage, slower tempo and single-limb variations all add load without adding weight.

What equipment helps most?

A set of resistance bands. They are cheap, take no space, and cover the pulling movements that are hardest to train with bodyweight alone.

How long before I see progress?

Strength gains show up in weeks — you will notice reps getting easier before you notice any visual change.
