Cardio aerobics you can actually follow
Simple steps, big sweat, no equipment.
- No equipment and about two square metres of floor
- Low-impact options in every session for knees and joints
- Steps repeat, so you stop thinking and start moving
Aerobics is the most forgiving way back into training: steady, repeatable steps set to music, with nothing to trip over and nothing to buy. Follow the beat and the session does the pacing for you.
Four levels
Starter
Never done this before. Slow tempo, every move broken down.
Beginner
You know the basics. Full sessions at a comfortable pace.
Intermediate
Longer combinations, higher intensity, fewer rests.
Advanced
Full speed, complex sequences, and real conditioning work.
Aerobics questions
Do I need any equipment?
No. Aerobics sessions are entirely bodyweight — you just need space to step side to side and a pair of supportive shoes.
Will this bother my downstairs neighbours?
Every session has a low-impact variation that keeps one foot on the floor at all times, so there is no jumping and very little noise.
How often should I do it?
Three sessions a week is a solid starting point. Aerobics is gentle enough that you can do it on consecutive days once you have adapted.
