Calisthenics, from first push-up on
Master your own bodyweight, one progression at a time.
- Zero equipment, works anywhere
- Every movement has an easier and a harder version
- Builds control and joint strength, not just muscle
Calisthenics is strength training where your body is the only load. Every movement has a ladder of progressions, so there is always a version you can do today and a version worth working toward.
Four levels
Starter
Never done this before. Slow tempo, every move broken down.
Beginner
You know the basics. Full sessions at a comfortable pace.
Intermediate
Longer combinations, higher intensity, fewer rests.
Advanced
Full speed, complex sequences, and real conditioning work.
Calisthenics questions
I cannot do a single push-up.
Then you start at incline push-ups against a wall or table. That is a real progression, not a consolation prize.
Do I need a pull-up bar?
Not to start. Pulling can be trained with bands or under a sturdy table, though a bar opens up more once you progress.
How is this different from Strength?
Calisthenics is strictly bodyweight and skill-focused. The Strength sessions also use bands and household load.
